Every time I start thinking I could take better pictures if only I had a K3ii or a K1, or whatever the next cameras will be (have a K5), I take a look at the beautiful pictures here and get my head screwed back on straight again. Keep posting the great shots and comments!

Hi All, hasn't it been about 7 months since the KP was announced? Maybe they are getting ready for the K3iii!

Great shot. I was there in Aug. but in the afternoon, lighting was harsh but I took almost the same picture. I was nervous about falling forward the entire time. Hope it was less scary for you!

I am pretty sure that whatever I say won't change your mind, but only someone with a photographer's eye and more importantly heart can make the argument you did. I would venture to add that the picture is not the important thing (unless you sell them to provide for your family!), it's the journey (physical and mental) to get the picture, and the things you realize about it and the experience afterwards that counts.
