I got the email, fine example of corporate word salad. Nothing to worry about until "we found it necessary to make a few changes."

If they had used the KP as the Mono camera I would have been very tempted.

The contest will run from now until from March 7 to March 14,2024
NB: VOTE ("like") FOR SOMEONE WHETHER OR NOT YOU ARE AN ENTRANT....!!
Submissions can be in any written form (no video or audio files) — caption, limerick, motivational, poem or prose — whatever inspires you to describe the photo or catch attention. Submit by replying to the thread. Contestants may submit more than one entry but it must be in a separate post. Important: Even if you do not submit an entry, please “like” any posts you feel deserve it as this is how the winner is chosen. And if you DO submit an entry, please also find an entry that you like from among your competitors' efforts and "like" that one as well.
The "thread starter" is the moderator and must post an original photo at the start of the thread. In case of a tie the moderator will choose one to break the tie. After determination of the contest's winner, that winner will be notified ASAP after by the current Thread Starter/Contest Host and will become responsible for posting the next original work to be captioned.
Enter often, vote more often. and most important: Have fun!

Agree with Terry C. I have used 15mm with no problem. As for focus, I have found that infinity is most usual, at least for landscapes. My copy, and I have read that it is common, is that you can go beyond the infinity mark which will blur your image. Being particular about being on the mark should get a sharp photo. That said, and ain't there aways a "that said," the focus ring, at least on my copy, can move for no apparent reason. Double checking before the shot is prudent.

The sigma 17-50 is my most used lens. I have used it on the K-70 and KP for landscapes and such. I prefer the results with the KP but the K-70 is more than acceptable. One camera has the sigma and the other a Pentax 55-300 PLM. Use the tool that will build the product you want.
