It's a thin rubber band sitting inside a recess, you will need to start it with a pick or something thin, then it comes out easily (at least mine did).
I'm not sure if any kind of adhesive was used there, it didn't seem so. In any case when put back it is tight enough to not slip.

Faced the same issue recently and ended up following the solution by jbensen8191 (see his review of the A* 645 300 in the lens reviews section)
Those iShoot collars (iShoot IS-TA720) can be found on ebay or amazon for about 50 EUR.
Since the tightening screw is captive, the collar won't open up much so I had to remove the aperture control rubber and yoga-it in (white bump through the gap while pressing the A button with a small plastic screwdriver). However once it's in it feels pretty sturdy

Been registered on the forum for some time, but never got around to write a small introduction :(
I am Kostas and come from Greece. Have been a photography hobbyist for sometime, enjoying mostly landscape photography. Currently own a k200d and a k-3.
