Years ago when I had my Sony I had seen some crazy sunsets and now another summer and more smoke unfortunately in the air.

I saw last week this image and waited until I could recreate it today.

It has been a while and took this in my backyard this morning. Stood up all night to get this before the clouds rolled in.

Goodnight!

I took it out to shoot the photo booth at a local anime convention and took a few photos.

I am still figuring out this from the transition from the Sony Alpha 900 and 700.

Once I get some decent, not overcast days here in New Mexico, I might take it out somewhere nice, like a campground, or the mountains.

I can't wait!

My second post here, sold off the Leicaflex SL and picked up a Spotmatc F. Here's the results with a camera with a proper meter and lens mount.

The lines across the frame is a scanning artifact from the lab's film scanner, no fault of the camera. Also very unlikely a scratch on the negative, but that could still be the lab's fault, and the scanners are good at removing those. Used to run a photo lab at the local pharmacy, a Fuji Frontier 350 and a 60 roll per hour negative processor. I could do APS, 120 and 135 in that lab. Those were the days.
