Hello, Forum
My MZ-S port covers have finally succumbed to rubber reversion and become little more than goo. To keep the contacts on the bottom plate covered I'd resorted to leaving the grip attached all the time. Of course, this eliminates one of my favorite physical qualities of the camera - its compactness.
My partner copied/designed some replacements for 3D printing the grip contacts port, grip latch port, and remote shutter port. After several many attempts with both resin and filament TPU filament seems to have the best combination of flexibility and durability. Attachment 631664Attachment 631665Attachment 631666
The portions of the pieces not shown are more or less the original shapes since that's what keeps them in place. Attachment 631663
The round cap in the photo is an earlier version of resin that had poor durability.

I use the Lightroom tether and it's very, very slow - just FYI.
For me, using the Negative Supply system has brushes for the negatives as they enter the holder and I think it does a very good job. I still keep a rocket handy but I need it much less than in the past.
I send the file through Negative Lab Pro and then anything in post is pretty minimal.

Before I moved to the Negative Supply kit I had a lightbox (96 CRI) and holders for 35/120 made by Skier. It was pretty affordable and Cinestill discounts them pretty regularly. I used the Negative Supply basic copy stand with this box and it got the job done. Whole kit was probably $400-500. I've used the Lomo holders mentioned above, and I thought they were terrible.
I've seen the Pentax Duplicator for sale in the US recently for about 1k, but it was missing all the holders. You also still need to supply a light source - a flash in this case - so your kit cost is already over 1k. If you're willing to spend that much there are many other (cheaper) options that are system agnostic.

I’m doing this with my 645Z. I use the 120mm macro and a light/stand/holder setup from Negative Supply. Pricey, but very high quality kit.

I ordered from Ricoh’s website on the 19th after receiving the email, and canceled all the other pre-orders I had going. Received a notice from UPS it should be here (Seattle) no later than Monday. If you ordered from Ricoh it might be worth checking your order status.

I experience the same thing with the same combo, but not with other lenses.

Today is another 20% day at fleaBay, so you could do what I did and snag a new KP for cheap! Just be sure the seller is an authorized Ricoh reseller if you care about warranties.

When I decided to buy the KP I just checked eBay every few days for one of their 20% off discount days. I snagged a KP and 50mm lens for $800 from an authorized dealer's eBay store. Could've been less without the lens but I'm switching from Olympus and that means starting from scratch.
