yeah, i understand, sometime we youngster look back at 80s,90s and just feel amazed with how wonderful musical quality compare to what we listen nowadays, but we just realized we has been through nearly another 2 decades, everything just keep changing, i'm glad that there still many people appreciated older generations and take as great inspirations to create better and creative stuffs beyond trendy commercial scene
here is examples of what i'm listening, quite a time gap, also a obsecure genre :p

yeah :p
remember cancelled promising Nikon DL18-50? it's possible, i guess the size and weight will increase a little bit but not a big deal, maybe not totally sealing but still effective to resist any dust, moisture, make you happy pocketing the cam on dirty pant without worry :)

nice and vibrant photos @WPRESTO, especially i love how deep micro contrast is!
it's amazing that 1 inch sensor today capable on par with old APSC sensor 10-15 years ago, i tried to compare my rx10 m3 thi my old Nikon D3000 photos, gave me both suprise and nostaliga feeling

just got a used rx10 mark iii on ebay with very reasonable price and worked perfectly, should be the best backup when my K70 and her lenses rest a home
despite excellent carl zeiss len optical quality, the 1 inch sensor is very easily to break itself when you overdo peeping and post processing, also noise invasion is visible when you go above iso 200 (maybe i got used too much with APSC, my nerves was stretched like crazy)

i bet he will eventually sell pentax anytime soon and return to where he started and then running circle again XD when get older, perhaps just enjoy shooting film again!?

used to think selling my pentax K70+18-135 just to get A6300 with just ....the crappy 16-50 kit len XD (my caculation of my limited budget)
A6300 really has quite attractive price now, after the introduction of A6400
i love crop APS-C, but what really let me down is how overpriced Sony crop lens, but average on optical and build quality if compare to Pentax (less prices but great values offering - the cheap, compact WR zoom, the cute solid metal limited lens and how special color, contrast rendition)
the video mode 4K is pretty cool, but what the point when my laptop is not enough specs and storage to hold the video files, and mostly my purpose is uploading for showcase on social media
Autofocus speed isn't really matter much for me, pentax is fine
okay, pentax, you really win my heart, once again!

i didn't like how smartphone evolution nowadays, many manufacturers thinking smartphone should be repurpose as mini PC powerhouse, photography tool wannabe
and look, smartphone is getting bigger and thicker!! oh dear
for me, smartphone should be small and and compact as possible to fit nicely on any pocket, thats why i remember old era smartphone
effectively fast phone calling, messaging, decent features entertainment, decent camera...
what the world has turned on

in the crazed world with alots of smartphone crowds around, now just think how to make yourself a little bit special that stand out and get more loves on social media everyday :D
i have K70 so i would go all the way to 18-135, versatility and practical, it's not about superior image quality, but get most of works done to make not only yourself, but your friends, family happy enough to make up a good, full of smiling day
for self pleasure, i would go for 20-40, and 55-300 PLM, for rogue, creative shooting

i'm planning to buy 20-40
i really not expect prime limited quality, and even luxury high end DA*
but at least if the len is better than 18-55, 18-135 and maybe on par (or even slightly better?!) to 16-85 (of course, at range 20-40 for comparison)
i would happy to embrace it, my most shooting purpose is landscape and people (event, wedding, familiy)

Fuji have less WR consumer lens than Pentax, but what catch my attention the most is Fuji 18-135 WR, that quite similar level to our beloved Pentax 18-135 WR
seem like Fuji one is better at sharpness (the corner edge?)
but when come into size, Pentax is lighter and smaller

18-135 is the good cheap zoom pentax ever made in my opinion
somehow i have my emotion nailed on such type of versatility superzoom len
now i wish for the DA HD 18-200, then my happiness will be rised over 9000

i sent the len to repair center, hope the cost is not much or else i have to buy new len :p time to upgrade!
aye, really aware that too, but i still happy for myself to know the limitation of my gear :rolleyes:

As the title said
here is the video i made few months ago, really enjoy the light shower, thing worked perfectly fine after that, no leak

and this is few week ago on the beach, i accidentally pushed the test to higher limit
- body worked fine, no leak, have to shower few time to make some sands go away to unstuck the shutter button
- the len seem fine, no leak? but the mainboard malfunction (can't AF)...oops!
Proud of being K70 user! :D
