So a bit of a story here. She was a bit dopey and a bit lost in my bathroom and I brought her out to the garden and let her have a bit of honey.

First time I've used this lens on my K-3

Natural light on the full body shot but I can't remember if the flash fired on the head shot. It was late evening.

The head shot is iso 2000 and you can still see the compound eye.

A sweet break. | Emmanuel Diver | Flickr is the Head shot.

I'm in Northern Ireland and yet I have seen other pentax owners. They're rare but sure Northern Irish are a rare enough breed anyway haha.

I took an open University course. T189 if you want the course ID. I'd considered a degree path after retirement but when I did the maths for the cost of the degree I realised how I'd just rather buy glass haha. I'm self taught beyond that and obvs the fantastic advice I get from places like this.

Today I took a wander round botanic Gardens with my wife and daughter. Spring is on its way and I had my Tamron 70-200 2.8 with me. In hindsight when I go to botanic in future its coming with the camera on its own. The 24-70mm and the 50mm were utterly sueprflous.

Onto the photos.

I absolutely love it. The tones are just sumptuous and the way the eye is led to the bridge is brilliant. Technically spot on and compositonal-wise I would agree about taking the shadow out at the bottom.

I'd a couple to chew on this year.

The local park floods rightly. I had a "visions into the upside down" kind of idea. A reference to stranger things by shooting the reflections in the puddles.

I also wanted an alphabet challenge. A is for apple etc and it's apples at the local market.
