Gremlins on my Pentax K-1

Hello and Hola to everyone on this page and forum.
I am a Pentax newbie, March 2018.
Was a Fuji/Nikon digital user for 18 years, and analog user for 13 years.
Today my Pentax K-1 did something I never encountered before on any digital camera.
The camera was selecting, automatically, the 12 sec self-timer.

Has something similar happened to another member of this site?

Just finish the firmware updated.
Will update if this happened again.

Thanks in advance.
Magio

Attach a sample of today catch.

Thanks very one for the welcome and for the support.

Hola Mundj.
So far the most keepers come from the AV.
I will try the TAV and will let you know how it works out.
I use M when shooting in studio. In studio I have control of the environment.

C_Jones is the person to talk to. He owns all the good Pentax models!!!!!

Hola pjv!!!
Visiting your part of the world is on my bucket list.
My part of the planet is the West Indies, the Dominican Republic to be precise.
Great place to go crazy shooting.
From deep blue ocean, the Atlantic on the North coast.
To dark green, emerald green, parrot green, banana green and every shade of green sea, the Caribbean sea on the Sout coast.
And if you ever, ever get bored with the hot and humid towns on both coast, you can hike to 3080 meters, Pico Duarte, and take photos of the Milky Way.
And do not get me started with Carnaval, every single weekend, Carnaval party and a parade full of outlandish mask and customes.
Look me up on Instagram, there you will find a decent sample of photos from my part of the world and a couple of other places.
magicosdq is the name, both on Instagram and Facebook.
But yes Australia is number one on my to do list...

Hola Patrick.
I shot Nikon for over 18 years.
Was able to purchase the top of the line Nikon model, at the time the D3s, but lately I was feeling that every new model was almost the same version with minor adjustments. My lovely D800 finally succumb to old age, The D3s was already showing signs of manu years as my faithful compadre. On top of that, if I want it Vibration reduction, I have to buy new glass, the VR on Pentax is on the body not the lens. And Nikon glass is extremely expensive. And to finish it all, I can't afford to upgrade to new at least the D850.
So as you can see, out of necessity, I have found an amazing piece of camera equipment, and the Pentax 70-200 2.8 is built like a tank. I am in really having a blast with this lens.

Thanks for the welcome SAAbas

I am new to Pentax.
I made the jump, after 18 years, from Nikon.
I am confused about the set ups. Nikon is a lot more user friendly, is it not better, just easier.
I can see the difference between vibrant and radiant, but I am confused as to why have both.
I do not regret the jump, I love the Pentax colors, but I do miss how easy was to delete a file on my Nikon camera.
This is my second post on the Pentax forum, my first post was a question, but I don't think that counts.
Cheers.
