Hi everyone, I am wondering if it is possible to give an option of shorter time, like 10-15 sec, for the camera to go into a sleep mode through a firmware update. I am surprised that Ricoh's shortest time is a minute. Most cameras today have an option of even 10 seconds.
The reason I am asking is that having a camera go into a sleep sooner would save battery, keep it from heating up, and reduce wear on the lens retracting motor.
When I shoot on the street with my fuji x100f I have it set to 15 sec, when I see a possible picture I just press on the shutter button and the camera wakes up pretty fast (Ricoh wakes up even faster with the lens remaining extended).
Is there such thing as future firmware improvements requests for Ricoh ;) ?
