I was about to load a dummy roll, but now the shutter isn't even firing. :mad:

Hello fellow Pentax lovers,
I've been getting into analog photography, and I've borrowed my fathers P50.
Even though I like how it works, it has some problems.
First, I find that the shutter button takes an incredible amount of force in order to take the picture. This, however, is erratic - sometimes it doesn't, but most of the times it does.
Also, when winding the film, in order to take another picture, it keeps telling me (the small arrow in the LCD keeps blinking) to wind 2-3 times before letting me take the picture. Which results in 28-29 pictures per roll, instead of 36.
When working with it unloaded (w/o any film), most of the times it works ok. I find it that when a film has been loaded, the extra force necessary to actually wind the film makes it worse.
Does anyone have any idea of what is happening?
