Some woodlands photography with my GR III. You could totally use the GR III as a landscape camera especially with the 21mm lens adapter (not used here).

What an expansive view. Good job finding a foreground subject in such an open area. These wide open areas can be really challenging to photograph.

A very classy panorama, the tinted mist almost makes it seem like from another planet.

Turkeys look so exotic to me since there are no members of their genus in Europe.

Nice shot and a great title to go with it! :)

Beautiful subtle lighting and good triangular composition. The stream of water bottom left, the yellow leaves on the bottom right and the light shining through the tunnel from the other side balance each other out nicely.

What a quirky looking yet beautiful bird. The only member of the wren family we have in Finland is the Eurasian wren.

Never underestimate the value of a sturdy tripod, I was just today thinking how glad I am to have invested in a super solid tripod a decade ago - still going strong.

You can actually see the guys on the ground grow increasingly worried the further away they are from the start point. For the record this attempt was succesful and no one was hurt.

A small piece of my street photography spree in the summer of 2013. This is a bit unusual since it's from Kichijoji - an area that I didn't photograph much mostly due to poor connections there from where I was living. Regardless this session has become one of my favourite single street photography nights, there was a lot happening in both the main streets and the small alleyways around and my subjects were very eager to be photographed.

Ther'es something very nostalgic about this since it's black and white and a touch soft. It's almost like a faded memory of a happy time spent on the fjord shore.

Compostionally I also like the broken rhythm with one gap being significantly longer than others and one very short.

Phone Camera for Wedding Photography?

I could see having a second (or third) shooter with a phone to get some different types of shots since people react to a phone very differently than to a big camera body. DSLRs and other big camera bodies tend to invite posing. For the same reason I usually have a GR with me for event photography since I feel like it makes it easier to blend in with the attendees and allows me to get different types of shots.

I agree broadly with Alex, the bright reflections make this image kind of bottom heavy. The other way that could be addressed is by opening up the shadows a little bit to make the top a little bit brighter. I think the issue might be that the tower in the middle seems like the main subject or a part of it with the bridge yet it's the least well lit.

Other than that it's a beautiful scene and a great capture. Those well lit arches of the bridge would make for some cool close-ups too.

Whatever that line in the foreground is is interesting because it has a dark core below the leaf but is pure light above.

I like the angle you took this from, it's just right to get this dynamic view of the bug. Lower angle would have obscured the subject and higher diminished the impact of being able to see all the legs and wings etc. separately.
