Sorry, I have my own printer and just use that. Never needed to go out to market.
But I suggest asking around, try your friends and workmates. I'm sure someone will have one. And will be keen to help.

After reading this post I decided to make a 3D model of the battery grip terminal cover. I have made it available on Thingiverse so if anyone loses it they can download it and print a fresh one.
You will need to print it with TPU so it's flexible. Its a good fit but I wouldn't trust the waterproofing. It will be dust proof and better than having nothing. Pentax KP Battery Grip Terminal Cover by Tooth_DeKay - Thingiverse |

Look, I feel your pain. Not only am I an Australia, but I'm in Western Australia, it doesn't get any more remote. Nothing and I mean nothing is in stock here as far as Pentax is concerned.
One thing I have found though is that a local camera store called "Camera Electronic", whilst it doesn't stock Pentax will order it in at prices that beats C.R. and you deal with actual humans, not a website.
Ive had nothing but a good experience with these guys. So my advice to you is get off the internet and get into a local store and order through them. If you have issues its a much better outcome.

I picked up an M2 Mac Studio and couldn’t be happier. It’s so fast, but I am replacing a 2011 Core2 Duo Mac mini, so that’s to be expected.
The only thing I’m not happy with is I can no longer run Apple Aperture. I really don’t want to use Adobe Lightroom, but it’s looking more and more like I’ll have to..

Wow, that’s a bit harsh. I have a Sony DSC-F717 that has a Zeiss lens and the photos it takes are nothing short of fantastic.

It’s funny because I always had it as “ Red sky at night, Shepherd’s delight. Red sky in the morning Shepherd’s warning”
Probably depends on how close the coast you are I guess.

I have a Samyang 14mm 2.8 manual focus that I use for Astro photography. It is an awesome lens for the price.
Just checking the website now show that it is available in Fuji X Mount so no adapter required.
To be honest you can probably buy it new for the price of a second hand Pentax lens.
Just something to think about.

This is one of the reasons why I am still using an old MacBook Pro with Aperture. It groups RAW+ pairs and when you delete one it deletes both.
Still haven’t found a suitable replacement for Aperture.

Are you sure the light meter in the second camera is accurate? This could explain the poor results.

I was taking some photos around the office for the boss the other day. One of the new starters saw the KP and said "Wow, Pentax, you must be serious".
He then started on about how the modern generation wont know what a camera is cos they all take snapshots on their phone..

Thanks, I’ve been using this for years and never really understood how it worked, just knew that it did.
I would be happy to hear how your tests go against the Topaz tools. Please report back with the results.

I picked this tip up in a book from way back in 2003 called “The Photoshop book for digital photographers.”
I’ve been using it ever since. Although not so much since I have a camera that produces large enough images now.
Anyway, I went looking on the internet for some info about this technique and it looks like it was reprinted into another photoshop book in 2005.
Here is a link to the extract from the book showing how it’s done The Cool Trick for Turning Small Photos into Poster-Sized Prints | Cream of the Crop: cropping and resizing | Peachpit
If you have photoshop or any other editing app you can give it a go and see the results for yourself.

You will get better results if you just increase the photo size by 10% each time repeatedly until you get to the desired size, rather than jumping up to full size in one hit.

Micro USB is one of the worst connectors currently in circulation. There is no way to tell if a cable is “charge & data” or “charge only”.
And it’s so bloody flimsy. I can see why Apple said no way are we using that rubbish.

I second RawTherapee.
I like to use the HaldCLUT Film Simulation for converting to B&W. Film Simulation - RawPedia
It will simulate the effect of most B&W film from Agfa, Fuji, Ilford, Kodak, Polaroid & Rollei if you download and setup the film simulation pack.
And as stated before, it’s all free….

Good suggestion, only problem is that the current version of Digikam is not compatible with El Cap that the OP is currently using.
Although, he could load it up into a Linux virtual machine and test it out from there.
