Heathland is an endangered habitat in the UK. This shot was taken on Witley common in Surrey. A closeup of the earlier flowering Bell heather in June. Bug was a surprise interloper.

Welcome! Depending upon what you want to spend, there's loads of great digital body options out there. I opted for a K70, good value with modern features. But I still use my old *ist Dl2 (6 mp!) With my old film lenses and it does just fine. You can pick those up for about £40.... enjoy!

Hi all, new forum user here, though I've probably been hanging around via Google searches in the past.
My Dad taught me to use a Pentax ME Super in the mid 80s. I've recently returned to photography via my work in the countryside.
Shooting on K70 and loving macro at the moment.
