Meadow at Longwood Gardens. Shot on Ektar 100 with SP-1000 with Macro Takumar 100mm. One of my first color rolls developed with Lab-box. For some reason my V-700 scanner has developed an issue and is showing the border of the film.

No, other than the fact there is a little more length to the door seals than what you need. The upper door seal will require a cut to leave a gap for the film counter reset.

I went through this thread and I didn't see anyone mention the proper tool for removing the ID ring: amazon.com : Lens Ring Tool 42mm & 50mm
The small side is just the right size for most Taks (those which have 49mm filter threads).

OK I didn't know I should have it off when plugging in. So it seems it's probably a simple contact/wiring issue. Thanks!

I have an issue with my SP1000 . I tried to use flash for the first time on this camera. As soon as I connect the PC cable to the x-sync port, the flash fires. And it won't fire if I take a picture. The FP port does the same thing, but it will fire when I take a picture.
I confirmed this with two separate flashes (Vivitar Auto 252 and Vivitar 2500 Zoom Thyristor), which seem to operate correctly on another camera.
Any ideas? Thanks.
