Agree with Adam, it could be mechano-electrical. It might just be over cautious, but those tiny sockets and their connections inside seem a little fragile for really frequent use without risk of some sort of loose connection forming. I try to avoid using plugs and cables for routine connection to things that fit that much soldering and that many pins into one small area - if there's an alternative. It's friends' phones I hear most of the horror stories with.... A memory card reader seems a safer bet for long term reliable use.

Hello all,
Just dropped in from the (crispy) shores of Lake Ontario. I'll pop some piccies up as soon as I figure out how. And where. I'm very slow for a pig you see ;)
Erm, on the introduction front; well kitwise I meandered to a K10D via an Oly E300, Panny FZ30 and 20, and an OM1 back in my film days. Ironically enough my first SLR was a K mount Ricoh. No I'm afraid I don't still have the lenses :)
