I ended up getting a Polaroid Sun 660 AF , I am just waiting on the monochrome film from amazon. The polaroid restoration websites are fun to look through.

I have spent the last couple of weeks researching polaroid cameras that take 600 film. The modified SX 70 that take 600 film look great some with sonar autofocus and some all manual. The SLR 680 with the sonar auto - focus looks nice but very expensive if you buy from a company that refurbishes polaroids.
An somewhat affordable option I like is the Polaroid Impulse AF, it has one of the bigger view finders in the range finder type polaroids and is all plastic and appears very durable great for taking on the e-bike.
Is anyone else shooting Polaroid and if so what model are you using and what model would you recommend?

I know I am late to the party but I have a line on a good deal on (2) Godox AD360 mk1’s I don’t use HSS or Multi Mode . I have both the original Xpro-P t and X2T-P will these triggers fire the AD 360 mk1 using the XTR 16 receiver in Manual mode? Including both power and turning the flashes on and off? After reading all of the original post I was unsure if either of these triggers would work.

Am I to take from this thread that my Jackery 300 explorer could power a Godox MS300?

I am thinking of purchasing the Neewer 300w strobe, has anyone tried to attach the neewer trigger into hotshoe of the X2T and fire both the neewer strobe and godox strobes at the same time? I am sure someone has asked this but I have not been able to find the answer.
I wouldn’t expect to control the Neewer from the trigger but if it would fire with the Godox that would be great.
Thanks

I came from the Fuji X70 and Sony RX100 V, both very light great travel cameras. After having both for awhile it became obvious to me what I like in a camera , which is external controls and ergonomics. The fuji has an abundance of external controls and is a lot of fun to shoot. The sony is a good camera but it is not fun to shoot at least for me.
The K1 has all of the features I was looking for in a camera and FF was a bonus. As I remember it was significantly less money in Canada than the Nikon D750. The K1 is way to much camera for me but man is it fun to use.
When I started shooting video I saved up and got the Canon XF605 a pro camcorder. I got it for it’s external controls and convenient features.

The Steadicam Air15 monopod is supposed to compress to 28 inches. When I first got the unit, the footpedal on the bottom did work as described and would hold the monopod at any height.
Now the valve will not hold the monopod compressed. I push down on the foot pedal compress the monopod take my foot off and the monopod returns to full height.
I hoping someone might know a DIY fix for this or be familiar with this product. The monopod is new with very little use.

I was wondering if the X2T trigger pass through shoe could power another trigger like a (Neewer) to fire an off-camera flash. Has anyone tried to connect a non-Godox trigger to the X2T shoe to test it?

The only thing that comes to mind when I hear “Baby” would be a Godox AD1200 Pro, which I don’t have but would certainly earn a spot on the cart.

I adapted a BOB stroller to carry my camera bag, flash bag and my light stand bag. This is where I started with a stroller with the belts and fold out awning removed. The rest of the photo shows the additional shelf fitted to the stroller with clamps that have a wood holder screwed to them. This allows the entire thing to be removed from the cart quickly and still allow the cart to be folded .
As shown in the photo the flash and light stand bag fit on top with 3 bungie cords and the camera bag slips underneath in the main "sling " of the cart. The whole thing fits into the back of my truck with room for all the gear.

First off, thanks everyone for the positive comments much appreciated. I think I should provide some background as to what led me to make the quad flash holder in the first place. I already had three speed lights and I bought a fourth with the idea of mounting two speed lights on each one of my light stands.
I was originally going to buy a triple threat speedlight holder but then I decided I wanted a mount that did not involve using a cold shoe.. As previously mentioned , when using four speed lights together the recycle time can be quite fast especially if you’re not using full power.
I used to power my speed lights with Duracell batteries and then with Energizer rechargeable batteries. I found the rechargeable batteries to be an upgrade over the Duracell‘s especially when comparing recycle times . The Eneloop batteries are even faster when it comes to recycle time using full power. The Eneloop batteries really are on another level when it comes to holding a charge and performance in a speed light.
I am thinking that if I ever do buy a strobe it will be somewhere in the area of 600ws to 1200ws and I will use the quad flash as a fill light.

Hello All,
I wanted to get more power in a single modifier for lighting mostly old farm equipment in the field. Until I can afford a large strobe here is what I came up with, it works well with the X2T trigger. It is in a Godox S2 bracket and the speed lights are held in place with wedges. It is stronger than holding them with a cold shoe mount. The break down and setup time is pretty quick as well.

My favourite accessory lately is a used BOB 3 wheel stroller to carry my camera bag and tripod. It is great for the “gravel/backroad “ photography. It gives you a place to set the camera and changes lenses. No weight on my shoulders is the best.

I use my light meter for landscape and flash . Even my camera light meter is usually ok, the hand held meter I find faster to use with less test shots. I really like the 1 degree spot meter function of my sekonic 858.

Not a number you are the man , thanks so much worked like a charm. When I originally bought adapters I bought all the OEM ones I could find. They were not that common in Ontario at the time. This particular adapter has always worked fine. At 0530 this morning I was in a rush and I changed lens without paying attention to the proper orientation of the red dot on the adapter and I did have it not 90 but 180 degrees in the wrong direction.
Thank you to everyone for your response , all of you have been a great help every time I had a problem or wanted to buy a new piece of gear.

Hello All
I have managed to get an M42 adapter stuck in my K1 I can unscrew the lens but the adapter stayed in place. Before I put the adapters on my M42 lens I removed the small screw that holds the 2 small flanges on the adapter just in case they got stuck. I did not realize it at the time but the lens appears to be attached to the camera 90 to far in the counter clock wise direction. I have included pics of the both the lens on the camera and just the adapter on the camera. The adapter in the pic is loose it is not jammed in the mount however it will not release. Any help would be appreciated .

Hello All,
Today I received 3 tt600 speedlights and a godox X2T P trigger (with pass through adapter) and I could not be happier. The ability to work with lights that are manageable with a few basic controls is wonderful. My wife wants to be my VAL at the moment so I haven’t even broken out my new boom stands yet.
Just taking portraits of the dogs with 3 lights set at random power set about the room makes photographs that would never be possible relying completely on ambient light. I will be playing with these for months and even then I am not sure I want to move to a studio strobe anytime soon.
Adding flash opens a whole new world that I never really had an appreciation for until this point. Thanks to everyone for their help and guidance.

Professor could you elaborate in what scenarios you use each of your lights?
