It was a beautiful day with thin, wispy clouds that did not interfere with observation or photography. :) One can see four solar flares in this photo.
I missed totality in 2017 due to clouds, so this was my first totality.

I love doing astrophotography! Living in the east makes finding suitable dark skies very difficult. My cold intolerance makes winter skies a no go for me. Now that spring is finally arriving, I'll have more chances to get out again.
I have found that exposures longer than 20 seconds has left trails with my K5.
Here is one of my favorites taken at my brother in law's farm in Northeast Iowa.

I had the privilege of being the photographer for the hand fasting of two of my best friends. After the ceremony and before the party, the couple wanted to spend some quiet time in their fairy garden.
