Ok thanks all,
I'm clear about the mount question now, thanks. Auto focus is not critical and budget I am quite flexible on.
Would IQ be significantly compromised between zoom (15-30) vs a good prime/legacy adapted prime? I suppose a wide prime Pixel Shifted would have latitude for cropping.

Hello,
I am looking for a full frame UWA lens for interior painting studio shots (tight space 20 x 15ft, large works) ,I have 50mm and 35mm primes for individual paintings.
I currently have a Fuji-X 10-24 APSC which is ideal for this but want a Pentax K1 FFcompatible lens, Sigma 12-24 seems ideal but I'm not sure which lens mount model works with K1, also I have a FAJ 18-35 but its not quite wide enough,would the image quality of the Sigma 12-24 significantly better?
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

solved! I cleaned contacts and discovered I needed to press a button on the aperture ring to get it into "A" mode

hello all,
I have been looking to no avail to see if the fa 50 2.8 aperture adjustments should work in camera (K1) or if I have a faulty lens?
