Thanks, appreciate it. This was actually from my first day shooting with the 645 and I found (still do) focusing to be a challenge. I'm used to zooming in 10x in live view to focus.

My first attempt at medium format film. Got a great deal on a Pentax 645 with three lenses and decided to give it a try. I want to thank everybody who posts in this forum, I've done a lot of reading and learning here the last few months. I'm not new to photography, I've shot a Canon 6D since 2015 and a 50D before that, but I've never shot film before. I shoot primarily landscape and nature.
I only shot one roll of Ektar 100 this fall, picking and choosing my spots, sometimes shooting the same thing as with my digital, just to compare. Thought I'd start sharing some of these images now and again, starting with my very first shot.
This is a fen in Houghton County, in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Kodak Ektar 100, f8, 1/15th, 75mm.

Hi, my name is Kevin, I'm from Michigan's Upper Peninsula. I shoot almost exclusively landscape and nature and have been a Canon user since 2009, using a 6D since 2015.
A few months ago I found a great deal on a Pentax 645 along with 3 lenses. I've been doing a lot of reading and learning on these boards since then, being new to film photography. I just wanted to thank everybody, especially those in the Pentax Medium Format Forum for sharing their knowledge, it's been very helpful. I'll be sharing some images in the medium format photos thread.
