After reviewing the great YouTube videos by Kobie on the capabilities of the AF-C system on the K3 iii I am struggling to think of why you would use AF-S except when mounted on a tripod. Be pleased to hear your views.

and.... put the money you were going to invest in a 1.4 TC towards a 55-300 PLM for fast capture and capabilities to zoom out to keeep tracking bird. I found it to be an awesome lens. Still trying to get to grips with 150 -450 so understand your efforts.

A feature of the bag is it doesn’t look too much like a camera bag so must add some security when carrying it around. 👍 nice job.

Does that mean that if you review the photo on the screen (after using the AF button and not keeping it pressed) that when you press the OK button it doesnt zoom to the focus point? I have to give it a go.

What am I doing wrong??
I have noticed that the custom image settings seem to change without me implementing a change…. If I set Custom Image as Neutral in the menu [Camera 6 - Image Process Settings] and take shots all OK. If I then turn off the camera and then turn on (without any other changes) the Custom Image changes to ‘Bright’. This is not for any of the User Settings just the usual programs (I fundamentally use T/AV as a default)

For a random 'bedtime' search on Amazon last week it suddenly came up for around £ 1449 as a limitied deal and by the time I went back in the morning they were all gone!
Worth keeping an eye out for 'specials'!
