Hello,
I have got a lens from a friend for free. Helios 28mm/2.8 M42 Pancake, No. 849714-5 (maybe 5th generation?) Made i Japan. Anybody know this lens? The lens looks nice and very small, but the blades are stuck wide open.
Is it difficult to repeare it your self?
Thanks in advance.

Thank you for your answer. Here is some images. ---------- Post added 06-08-19 at 02:36 AM ---------- I am looking for a decent 28mm 2.8 lens, M42 mount, but does not expect this to be something super sharp. I am waiting for it from ebay/uk. Should be around the corner. I have heard that it is made by Cosina, but i am not sure.

Thank you for a quick answer. I have had it for tree weeks now, and have moved the focus and aperture rings every day. The focus is better, but the aperture has too much resistance for my taste.
Does the lubrication get dry after so many years (50 ?) It looks unused.

Hello,
I just bought a "MINT" Pentax Super Takumar 35mm F3.5 lens on ebay for my Spotmatic SP. It looks brand new. The aperture ring is a bit hard to move. Can I lubricate it from the backside and how?
Thank you
