Total amateur here with another 2 cents - I agree to some extent with the “pop” and “crop” comments. The pop is in the lighting of the beautiful skin tone. I would experiment with some bottom crop along with the suggest right side crop. With less black I think it would “pop” more. If not drop the crop. Still a very nice pic.

A great shot of an amazing place. Sadly, the last time I was there we had to walk on platforms as there was about 9” of water in the square.

Cool photos. Been there several Times (former CT res). Way back in the day he also had a little train that went around the property. Great location for fall foliage shots. Had some nice fall photos that the x burned a few decades ago along with others. Another plus for the digital era!

Yes, can imagine it would be a big task to get rid of the pole, but to me it is also the most off-putting element. If the pole were not behind the tree, yet visible, it would have more appeal. But no matter how you slice it “NiceShot!”

My 2 cents worth, from this aging hobbyist, clone it out. BUT if you want to make a statement about man’s affect on the planet, leave it. You have a very nice picture there either way.

I saw something like these trees a long time ago. But these look far more spectacular. I’m looking forward to seeing the rest and reading your post. It’s to bad there isn’t a photo essay competition here. Thanks a heap for sharing.
