Is there a big difference in IQ between the 28-105 on 50mm and the new 1.4 50mm lens ? I already have the zoomlens and I wonder if it is useful to own a 50mm next to it. If the difference in IQ is not that shocking I perhaps can better invest in another lens.

I have only filed the slightly elevated edge at the backside to get the bottom of the plate flat where it meets the underside of the camera ( 3 minutes work).

For whom it concerns. It took some time to find a suitable L-plate for my K1. I found a cheap one at our chinese friends, brand : Xiletu LB-D810L.
Fits !
