I didn't breathed only when I was shooting :)

It's a good idea to make 3-5 images. I'll try it!

Shake Reduction performance depending of shutter speed. Question

I've hold my camera and lens the same method in 2 cases (1/30 s and 1/160 s): left hand holds lens near bayonet, right hand holds camera.
So I think, that in my question camera hold method doesn't have a role - the role has shutter speed.

I didn't breath, heartbit rate was the same :) I've pressed shutter button by edge of my finger (I tryed not to shake the camera while pressed the button). My finger moved to the left, not down to the button.
When I use more slow shutter speed, I've used more dark objects (ISO and aperture was the same). It's about motion blur only.

I think, that mirror shake causes motion blur at 1/40...1/80 s.

Does anyone meet this problem?

Good day! I have one question about SR performance on Pentax DSLRs.
Excuse me for my english :)

I've noticed, that SR sometimes works better at slower shutter speeds, that at faster.
For example, I use Tamron 70-300 at 300 mm on my K20D, K10D, K-5 II. With all cameras I have the same result.
Shots are sharp at 1/125, 1/100 (about 2 stops under 1/EFL). If I set shutter to 1/80, 1/60, 1/40 s shots became blurred. I've decided, that 2-2,3 stops is a technical limit for SR. Not bad.

BUT: I set shutter to 1/30 s, 1/25 s at 300 mm and (suddenly!) shots became sharp! I've done 30 shots and at 1/30 s they were sharper, that at 1/80 s. I mean "not shaked". It isn't occasionally!
I've done 30 shots at 1/50...1/80 s and 30 shots at 1/25...1/30 s. In second series with lower shutter speed shots were sharper!

Why SR works worse at some (not slowest) shutter speeds? Is there some mechanical resonance at 1/50...1/80? Is it possible to repair it programmatically?
Maybe SR works too good at 1/50...1/80 and makes understabilization?

As I know, exists 1 or two examples of Volvo 243 (Volvo 244 with 1 rear door), but it is custom-made car, not stock.
Also exists Volvo 245-hearse (type in Google "klop show volvo 245") - with 2 door :)

I have Volvo 245 (1977) and I like it. It is not a car, it's tank :) Big long eternal car.
Thick metall, biiig hood, cast iron cilynder block, carbureter Stromberg, no electronic digital components inside a car, analog only.
I can repair this car with hummer, 2-3 wrenches and some strong words :)
If I put down rare seats, I have a bed for 2-3 people (1,2mx2,02m).

I like this car. Inside it I feel me in safety ;)

What's your favorite 2008-2013 APS-C Pentax DSLR and do you still use it?

My favorite Pentax from this time is K200D. I would say that it has the most beautiful colours (compared to K-5II).
Second favorite camera is K10D, but banding breaks good impression of K10D. In Sams GX-10 banding almost disappeared, but it's dynamic range in highlights is not so good as in K10D.

Hello, friends! I own few six-megapixels Pentaxes (istD, 100D Super and Sams GX-1L).
Please, help me! I didn't find answer to my question yet.

I know that there was two 6 Mp sensors from Sony: ICX413AQ and ICX453AQ.
Which sensor is in each six-megapixel Pentax/Samsung? I know, that istD and istDL uses ICX413AQ. Also I know that Nikon D40/D50 uses ICX453AQ

Which sensor is used in K100D/110D/100D Super?
What is the difference between ICX413AQ and ICX453AQ (in terms of noise, dynamic range, colour depth etc.) Who knows?

Question Nr 2. istD (2003) and istDL2 (2005) uses the same sensor - ICX413AQ. Is there some difference at noise, dynamic range, colours etc between these two cameras?
In-camrea processing of RAW-data from sensor in 2003 and in 2005 may be other.
