Hope they release something amaze us, actually I get a very good and different feelings on DSLR, OVF is magical(except taking photo under strong sunshine...), also I like the shutter voice that video has shown, so keep going on Pentax, by the way, I want a renew Hd 50-135 so much, its my best patenter for landscape while I'm traveling around place

I don's mean I gave up, still KP is my sub-camera, and I keep using it all the time:lol:
only when I need to take some picture with high-speed response and reaction I will take Z7

I'm in Sapporo 100 anniversary meeting, and I asked almost what I want to know all:p
They tell me this can not be turned on because of that, it's a highly finished model but can not work actually.

I'm in Sapporo meeting and I asked about this, they said this is not final design, also on Ricoh official webpage Japanese shows this is not final design, it can be changed all the time

I ask the staff in Sapporo meeting and they said this may not be final design, what you see is the camera that electric circuit has not been finished so it even can not turn on at all actually, only one model was finished and it can be "turn on", but still they don't tell me if that can work with lens well now:)
and that model never has been shown on a general place

I’m very happy to see Pentax still has so many users out of Japan in the world

Thank you, this is the first time I use K1 mark 2, everyday is good except focus point had weight, ah, my back hurts

Yes, I use Spot metering to make this image purposefully, so when someone watch this, he/she could be focus on train, and shadows makes wacher guess what they are doing?
I want make shadow and train more separated however this is a zoom, teleport lens, and train was going fast, I capture this moment in 3seconds. No chance for me to use another lens and go closer for it ;)

One thins I forgot to say is that on Sapporo 100 years anniversary meeting, Takahashi said that " It's the hardest time now, and all Ricoh Pentax's staff are doing there best, the best of the best for this camera"
I Speculate that now they meet some financial or new technology problem on this camera, or on need for the top person to admit this.
For June on next year won't be good for both users and market, so there must be something not quite well.

Thanks for you sharing, this prototype I’m sure is different from what I’ve seen in Sapporo Japan ‘a 100 years meeting, somewhere, it’s a little wired...
By the way. I see the same thing in Europe that all Pentax users are mainly middle age or elder male, my god, why, why no young face :0

Not an official news, but we all know he has good relationship with Ricoh's high level management, that's why he can touch this camera

When I read this I feel a little bad mood, from website 「デジカメInfo」, which means digital camera information, I've got a news said that the new APS-C flagship will on sell in Summer 2020, for me this means quite being delayed
Also, the news said the screen on camera will be unable to pull out, sorry don't know how to write that in English with single word :( , but I don't believe this
seems the information is from Kimio Takana's feeling about when he touch this prototype,
think about last twitter of him, he foreseen that camera's detail will be release on 2020, however it was announced just last month actually, so his utterance is not absolutely correct

Thanks, this is helpful
however I think I need more details, that will be more persuasive
First, if we think about high resolution, maybe we should put Z6 and KP together to compare, over megapixel cause more noise
Second, we all know that RAW file and JPEG have different performance on noise. So we should have 4 pictures Z7&KP on Jpeg/raw, and Z6&KP on Jpeg/raw
that will make the comparing better.
