A comment and a suggestion.
1st, similar thing happened to me, ended up with a new 645Z but accessories, battery etc indicated that it had been shelved a long time, probably 2015. No problems at all, no reason to aim for a recent build assuming that they are even still building them (which they are probably not, based on longstanding J camera manufacturing/warehousing habits).
So, I hope you already grabbed it! grin.
2nd, as soon as you get it home, be sure to upgrade the original olde firmware to the latest version. Just FYI, the buffer depth/continuous action shooting with latest firmware is significantly better than the (old) posted reviews, which is presumably firmware rather than circuit board or manufacture. So, especially if you're intending to shoot anything that moves, update the firmware on day 1.....
