Hi biz-engineer,
overheating? What do you mean? What is the maximum allowed? Yes it is very hot in these day in Italy, never left camera and lenses in car or in oven :) , usually I usually use a small shoulder bag...

Hi, I'm new on this platform...
and I start with an issue.
I wouldn't know how to describe, pictures are surely clearer than my words.
It seems that the rubber is moulding/getting mouldy and from the contact point with the lens something is raying out... (it looks like a reflex) it doesn't change with light exsposure.
Any body of you has an idea about? what is going on?
The lens is quite new, I bought it last Nov. and I keep all my lenses wit outmost care and attention.
