As a lighting designer I love the possibilities that LED units give but hate them when I try to take shots of the show! And add to that the fact that the more sophisticated moving lights lights are often CMY mixing (as opposed to RGB) and one has a real problem! Also many older video cameras simply cannot cope with groundlit cycloramas. With LED the worst problems occur with heavy blues as it seems to flatten everything, even when paler colours in generic units are also involved. Many of the more modern units have white and amber and even UV elements which give subtler mixes but doesn't seem to exacerbate the problems with the heavy blue :(
