I visited an old school house in Cambridge, MD and happen to see this blue school desk that made a nice still life picture...While looking around there was a picture frame with the rules for teachers in 1872. My oh my have the rules changed....I thought everyone would get a kick out of reading them....

Those are great shots...the thunder of those piston engines are amazing. The P-40 is a replica of the AVG- American Volunteer Group...the famous Flying Tigers flown by Americans for the Nationalist Chinese. If you look underneath cockpit you can see the the flying tiger emblem that Walt Disney Studios designed for the group. Very rare to see a Zero flying....love WWII era planes...awesome shots...

Not sure if someone would be interested......
Issues: One of the contact pins on the grip is stuck inside grip. (see Picture.) This causes the shutter button on the grip not to work. Battery in grip still works fine to power the camera. (See picture of just the grip battery operating my K20D.) Grip is still in very good shape and fits on the camera fine. Includes original box and grip. Lost little pin cover.

Wow....You are absolutely right the horse and rider are calling it quits and are about to go off the track to the barn that is located to the left..... I took about 9 shots and that one is 2nd before last.

When I first took this shot I thought the horse had funny white spots. Then I looked at the shots and saw white spots were from was from the horse. Since I know nothing about horses I thought the poor horse was being abused. Someone told me that is how horses sweat.... anybody know?

Thank you the Sigma did a great job and so did my Pentax :)
Not as close as I wanted but close enough to good some decent shots....I see some folks here get unbelievable close....none of those birds want to be my buddy...

Your the second person that has said that to me about this shot thanks....I agree usually it is a rear end shot since they are so skittish and they are flying away from you...he had to go forward towards me to get out of there...the full size shot really does this shot justice...

Saw this Blue Heron at Bombay Hook wildlife refuge outside of Dover, DE Saturday. Funny when I saw him he saw me and true to form he took off. This time I had a nice piece of glass to catch him....I just bought a Sigma 70-200 2.8 HSM II and wanted to try it out. I was very happy with the results...the focus surprised me....it stayed with the subject..not the usual one shot while panning and it starts to search.....wow 6 shots and 6 focused shots....what a novel idea....here are the 3 I liked best.....
