Thank you OrchidJulie, it was the best time of my life but also the most stressful and emotional time....running the lodge was great fun with amazing visitors but controlling the
reserve in the midst of so much poverty one had to check fences every day, two or three times, and walk the reserve to check for snares. A love hate relationship!

Thanx MSL for reminding this old girl. Yes it was the Pentax 300mm. A long time since I used the old camera! Forgot I even had that lens.
Maybe just maybe I'll go out tomorrow and see what photo's I can take with it.

HI MSL. We got the two males from Namibia to keep our animal population down due to the size of the property, although fairly large, wildlife breed like bunnies when there are
no predators around. We were not a hunting reserve and choose to do it the natural way...And the female was basically a rescue from a breeding facility. She was tame so her
and I would go for early morning walks, until the males showed up. She did eventually have two cubs, one from each of the males....Something I thought impossible but each cub
had almost identical markings (they never exact) and mannerisms. Gosh I should write a book...hahahahaha

Thank you MIkeNark a lovey compliment. She did, she loved every moment of being in the wild. We had to feed her every second day until she managed to catch her own, she
had a collar so that allowed us to track her and it was such an exciting day when we found her eating her first catch....a poor little rabbit :(

Thank you so much Tony for the lovely compliment, thought I'd share a couple of my old K100D when I lived on our reserve. The female in this photo is obviously the one in the
middle begging me to get rid of the boys. Those Boys were wild so I couldn't help her at that moment.....She would get up and walk towards me but either of the males would then
try to mate with her, because of her age she really was not interested... I think we all know about that.

I really miss you lot, I haven't been posting as my Pentax has got way too heavy for me to lug around. Had some misfortune with walking and only now getting back my movement.
Other than that its all the aches and pains of age... I would love to share my photo's with you guys however, its all iPhone now....

Hello eaglem.

just popped in to see who has what! This is a stunning photo of the yellow flower and the bee in the shade... Love it.

I don't do much with my camera any more its too darn heavy, so mostly use my iPhone.....Hence no photo's.
