A few shots from my first roll with a new experiment. A few years ago I picked up some blank boards for my Rolleiflex SL66 and last week finally got around to mounting something on one of them. This is the Taylor Cooke Hobson 5.15" (130mm) f6.5 Series III in a Bausch and Lomb phenmatic shutter that formerly resided on a J. Lizars "Challenge" rollfilm camera from circa 1900. The camera was missing important bits and the film size is thoroughly obsolete so no chance of shooting with it.
The shoot was fun and I'll do another very soon now I know all's working and I have an idea of what it does and doesn't do. Shot on HP5, All shots at f11 or 16 as those looked to me to be the "meat and potatoes" stops for the lens. I did one shot wide open and it was not so hot, as expected.

The Vivitar Series 1 28-90 f2.8 Varifocal is actually a really nice lens with a rather distinctive look to the images, unusual for having a flat front element.

Yes, the fine TTL metering and bright viewfinder make the job a lot easier. That and I just really like the F-1n.

My Contax IIa was lost for half a decade or so and was found just before Christmas in a box of discarded ornaments. This shot is from the first roll after all of those years - 50 f2 Sonnar on HP5.

You're a handier guy than I am. I'll do work on some cameras, but the LX is just too good and complex for me to attempt. Fortunately I have a great tech locally so when my LX needed the treatment it wasn't a problem.

How much leakage there is will often depend on simple things like how long between frames and how you were holding the camera in between shots.
