Flucard
If app/icon will not open Flucard then go to settings and wifi and select Pentax. Then go back to app/icon
I also have to make a change in the camera but can't remember what that was. I'll look and see if I can find it. Without that change the phone would not show what the camera sees.
OK JUST FOUND WHAT WAS FRUSTRATEING ME. ON THE APP TURN ON THE LIVE VIEW, LV, TO THE LEFT UNDER THE SCREEN AREA. Then on the camera Go to LV settings and turned off composition adjust. Hope this helps. It is a cool and very useful add on to your K-3.

OK I figured it out. I created a short cut on my iPhone and iPad. I would just tap the shortcut and it would sync up with the K3. For some reason now I have to go into setting first and tell the WiFI to connect to the Flucard. Beats me why it worked automatically for two weeks but now I need to go to settings, wifi, and select the card first, then tap on the shortcut. O well at least it's working again.

How can I change the Chanel if I can't even get on. I also tried it away from home on the 3G network and got the same error message.

No the battery is fine. The site will not come up at all so logging in is not even possible.
Anyone use it today?

Is anyone else having trouble using the Flucard? Worked Saturday night, Sunday it keeps saying "Safari can not open page because the server stoped responding." Am I doing something wrong, like accidentally changing something on the K3?

Solved the problem. Went to LV settings and turned off composition adjust.

Just bought the k-3. I shot in RAW. What setting should I have in the k-3? What printer file should I use in Photoshop? :hmm:

Had my hands on one at Don's Photo in Regina today. Same as my K-7. K-5 announced two weeks after I bought K-7. Not sure it's worth double the money. Good luck with yours. Sure it will be great.:cool:

I use the Lowepro small sling bag.
I carry my flash, (540), 50mm macro, 1.7x converter, Body with 18-250, batteries, cards, usb uploader, mini tripod, bubble level, lens cleaning stick, cable release, small light weight Manfrotto tripod, Cokin double lens shade. an assortment of Cokin filters and adapters strapped on the outside.:rolleyes:

I have a K10D and a K-7. My main lens is a Pentax 18 - 250. I love it, but at times I would like more power. I tried an older 1.4 converter and it only works part time on auto. I could live with manual for the price but even then some times it will not focus in manual.
I am thinking about the Sigma 50 - 500. I looked at the reviews on this forum and the reviews are all over the map. :confused: But I do not know what cameras it was used on. I want to shoot birds wildlife and sports.
Any comments on the reviews or the use with my cameras?
Any other lenses I should be looking at in this price range?
The FA 250 - 600 is a bit more. Is it an older lens and is it suitable for my bodies. To me sharpness is the most important thing.
The other thing I have noticed is the the reviews on the 50 - 500 are saying they paid $1,000. The best I can find is $1,500. Am I shopping in the wrong place? Any leads?:confused:

Just returned from Australia, New Zealand and Fiji. I bought the 18-250 a couple of months before going. I wanted to reduce the size and weight off my sling pack. I only took one other lens, my 50mm macro. Never took the 18 to 250 off. Took close to 3,000 pics WOW what a versatile lens.
I especially like to take panoramas. I took 52 of them ranging from 2 pics to 8 pics per pano. I use a tripod about half the time and can not tell the difference.
