Pushing the ⬆️ button is the only -and easy- way to change ISO when using manual lenses. It's not that big of an issue. It would've been nice to use the otherwise useless (manual lenses) dial. Maybe a firmware update could fix that (?)

Not at all. Along with the apparent film resurrection, there’s a quite large group of mirrorless shooters opting for older manual gems.
It’s a nice M collection. Doesn’t matter if it’s complete. The implemented intention is what makes it beautiful.

It is this time of the year. But it’s ok. I’ve been thinking about it, finding myself trying to make some more posts in here. But I enjoy getting back from time to time; work has been devouring my life lately. I’ll comment on old photos, post some of my latest trips and answer some threads. And I will be enjoying it.

A retro-designed Pentax would be more of a challenge, considering all the technology that has to fit in there. But yes, I would love to see one. IMHO only Fuji has managed to get a style out of their history. I must say though I'm one of those weirdos that like the 80's - 90's aesthetics. I have a Canon T-70 and love the looks of the P30T.....

Couldn't describe it better. I think that mental proccess was the main reason for starting photography, or realizing I had gotten into it, internally. Frames are also psycological; we learn to appreciate what's really important in our lives. :)

I like the first one better, it’s a great color approach.
Shutter speed is an issue. I prefer shutting faster with high ISO , unless star trails are what you wanna get.
The GPS surely makes it so much better.

Imho, Pentax is doing a great job keeping the dslr market alive. The technical standards are high, OVF fans are not so many, phones taking over, AI getting in the game...keeping the business sustainable and the profit margins widened isn’t easy, thus the switching-to-mirrorless of other major brands.
Additionally, when you wanna keep your buyers coming, you must offer affordable quality. Idk if Pentax fans are more or fewer every year, but we’re enough.
The stakes are high. Ricoh seem focused on their path , they develop fantastic cameras and I hope they continue doing so.
