Pushing the ⬆️ button is the only -and easy- way to change ISO when using manual lenses. It's not that big of an issue. It would've been nice to use the otherwise useless (manual lenses) dial. Maybe a firmware update could fix that (?)

You did the right thing, K-1 owner; no comment or advice would have brought a different plot. Enjoy your beautiful camera. Things should have been decided as soon as the "we only live once" part came up. Welcome to the digital world.

Second entry for me. If you’ve got luck even one is enough. Although I’ve never won anything important , or of a certain value, in my life 😬

The asymmetrical character given by the tree is very nicely paired with the angle of the shot. The central axis crossing the horizontal landscape level in the middle of the frame is a nice touch, a point of reference to which the tree and even that cable are breaking the rule perfectly. I can’t decide if I would want some vintage color palette in the frame, you probably had a good reason to go BW.

A beautiful shot, showing how important natural light is in such spaces. The diagonal character of the composition is well accompanied by the light and shadow play in your frame. The stair is a crucial part of the shot, guiding the eyes and separating the dark left corner from the ethereal window light. Idk about the color, seems a bit too yellow, but it could be my screen. Although it’s an interesting paint hue.

The honest intention of getting a particular surreal-I’d say, in terms of photographic techniques- style out of your shot, considering your preparation and pp , is what makes it so interesting. The parallelism is obvious , the tone is there, the detail is spot on, the subject is appropriate. The only thing missing is the notes on the side 😅😅
Very interesting result. I’d love to see other shots of this project.

My marvelous collection of M's

Not at all. Along with the apparent film resurrection, there’s a quite large group of mirrorless shooters opting for older manual gems.
It’s a nice M collection. Doesn’t matter if it’s complete. The implemented intention is what makes it beautiful.

The special place in everyone’s heart is always occupied by their first (film-for us) camera. I very much like the AE-1.. very reliable. And who doesn’t love miniature cars?!

Very nice color and detail. I think the shot might have benefited from a landscape orientation with a low angle perspective. A bit of burning in the middle zone would be rather interesting, enhancing those close parts of the frame. The sky is nicely blended and having no drama is perfectly fine to balance the optical noise of the image.

A good quality photo. I would like a symmetric composition but it is a nice shot.
