Ever eat beef?
Pretty tasty, I’d say.
And cattle are vegans.

Bob, I have checked the jar - I have it right here - and it says nothing about putting Vegemite on one’s hair. Where you got such a notion I have no idea. BTW, Vegemite is the poor pretender to Marmite, the real deal in yeast extracts for spreading on toast. If you like your toast even more so, there is also Marmite X-O (extra old) which leaves the antipodean stuff like Bud Light next to Guinness.
Mind you, not everyone likes Guinness, but I’m quite sure it’s not meant for your hair either.

Road-trip Saturday. (To see our son in Waiouru.)
Here's a shot of Mt Ruapehu seen from Waiouru. Also, the Huka Falls at Taupo, where 200,000 litres per second is quite an impressive sight.

Yep, there are certain TV shows/ series that I have watched over and over again.
Also movies...North by Northwest, The 39 Steps, Bullit, Remember the Night, The Caine Mutiny, Double Indemnity......and some others. Also the Dirty Harry series.
Two of those movies, feature Fred MacMurray and Barbara Stanwyck, when I think of it. All of those movies are vintage, the newest being almost 40 years old. Why I don't know. Maybe it's just me.
Well, they were good together on the silver screen.

My first experience with a computer was a TRS-80 Model 4P (I think) that my father brought home from work. I don't remember the game, but I do remember the tediousness of typing it in before having to go through and debug the program before finally being able to play :D
Talking of TRS-80, I think the Model 100 is one of the most amazing computers of all time. Very compact, instantly ready when switched on, has a proper keyboard, and runs for 20 hours on a set of AA batteries. Very popular with journalists for a good while. |

Quite right, I forgot about the ham and unforgivingly  on this thread....the bacon, which has to be back bacon, or as they say in the states...Canadian bacon.
In order to make it a true 'Hawaiian pizza' in the Canadian prairies you have to have equal parts of pineapple, ham and Canadian bacon or back bacon as they say in Canada.

If you need to ask, you're already lost.
Pineapple with BACON (plus ham & onions) makes a great pizza.

When I was in 7th grade I got thrown out of math class one day because the teacher had ZERO sense of humor.
She asked, almost as a rhetorical question, "so what's the formula for the area of a circle?"
One of the other students said "Pi r squared"
I said "No, that's wrong"
She said "No it isn't. Pi r squared."
I said (I have no idea where I'd heard this) "No, pie are round. Cornbread are square".
I spent an hour in the principal's office. :(
I was an educated donkey (smart ass) at an early age.

A big-city lawyer was representing the railroad in a lawsuit filed by an old rancher.
The rancher’s prize bull was missing from the section through which the railroad passed. The rancher only wanted to be paid the fair value of the bull.
The case was scheduled to be tried before the justice of the peace in the back room of the general store. The attorney for the railroad immediately cornered the rancher and tried to get him to settle out of court. The lawyer did his best selling job, and finally, the rancher agreed to take half of what he was asking.
After the rancher had signed the release and took the check, the young lawyer couldn’t resist gloating a little over his success, telling the rancher,
“You know, I hate to tell you this, old man, but I put one over on you in there. I couldn’t have won the case. The engineer was asleep and the fireman was in the caboose when the train went through your ranch that morning. I didn’t have one witness to put on the stand!”
The old rancher replied, “Well, I’ll tell you, young feller, I was a little worried about winning the case myself because that darned bull came home this morning.”

A minister is giving a sermon on Love Thy Neighbor and the joy of not having any enemies and in the course of the dissertation asks "Can anyone here honestly say they have no enemies"? Old Mrs. Jackson raises her hand and the minister says, "Mrs. Jackson, that is wonderful, please come down here". Mrs. Jackson, being about 92, slowly makes her way down to the front and when she gets there, the minister asks her, "Please, tell all of us, how is it you have no enemies", to which Mrs. Jackson replies, "I out lived the S O Bs"!

I did statistics for a year at high school.
I don't remember much of it.
What I do remember was our teacher was an average teacher and was also mean.
