I’ve been to Iceland twice and to the Faroes three times. They are VERY different. No active volcanoes.
The Faroes are probably the safest place you can be, This does not mean ‚not dangerous‘, but this relates to mainly to hikers. The landscape is more dangerous than you might expect. The weather is unpredictable but not as cold as Iceland because the Faroes are totally surrounded by the gulfstream. If you go hiking, many trails are described as „easy“, but that‘s for the locals…..
Wildlife means black sheeps, braun sheeps and white sheeps. Birds are usually seabirds and nesting in the cliffs. The cliffs, by the way, are up to 800 m high, so don‘t walk close to the rim. If you want to shoot (photograph) birds, book a guided boat-tour.
Many of the 18 islands are long and small. If it‘s raining try to get to the other side, they have many tunnels (but not always roads on both sides of the islands).
If you see 20 trees in one place, they call it a forest. All together they have about 3 forest.

It‘s a very beautiful place on earth. I love it.

Camera calibration has nothing to do with GPS positioning information.
The calibration process senses the magnetic field at the actual position to find out the correct direction of magnetic north.
With other words, the camera knows the direction to the magnetic pole, but not the current location.
The GPS modul receives the time-signal from the satellites to calculate the position on the earth, but it does not know, in which direction the unit is looking. GPS systems without a compass (or other support like differential GPS) don’t know the direction without moving.
The calibration process will be disturbed by changing of the magnetic field (power lines, moving position of the unit, changing position or angle of magnetic material like metall housing of a display, electronic equipment near the magnetic sensor.).
The GPS can be disturbed by blocked view to the sky, selection of GPS provider (GPS, GLONASS, Galileo) or distortion of the signal by other electronic transmitters.

Hi,
does the spot-meter shows different values when you change the ASA to a higher value?
Maybe I missed that information, but did you selected the right ASA before measuring?

The s-biners are rated 3 lbs. I wouldn‘t use them for my K1 with a heavy lens.

Using iOS 13.5.1 you just have to scroll down the list until you find "Show Image Information".
When you open this option, you'll get several pages : Overview,Histogram, Location,Exif Metadata, GPS and TIFF.

The OM clearly describes the importance and sensivity of the compass calibration:
Changing the lens or the angle of the monitor after performing
a calibration may have some effect on the magnetic field environment. In this case, perform a calibration again.

As a guy from northern Germany I have to correct the info „smallest city in Germany“.
Stadt Blankenburg has been renamed „Stadt“ in 1953, but it‘s part of the city off Hennef an not a city itself.
It has about 650 inhabitants.
The smallest city in Germany is Arnis. It‘s still a self governing city with 300 to 350 inhabitants and the smallest size (0.45 skm).
I like the pictures of Stadt Blankenburg, though....😉
