Hi,
I've browsed this forum quite a few times for various solutions and am very happy with the answers I've read so far. Sooooo... I decided to join. I LOVE finding out how things work! I recently came into the possesion of a sigma 28 2.8 medium wide lens from someone who was going to junk it! Can you believe that?! But it doesn't turn/focus smoothly and there seems to be a lot of dirt from somewhere. ANyway... I decided to clean it using... from reading this forum!!! ... Peroxide and Ammonia.
I've managed to get most of the lens apart but I'm now stuck.
I'm down to the shutter vanes but I don't see any more screws to unscrew to get the next lens arrangement out!
Does anyone have any tips on how to get the front lens out please?
