I have an excellent copy of the A35 2.8 which has gone unused since I purchased the FA 31.
If you are still interested, shoot me a PM and I'll snap some pics of it...

Ugh...wish that you posted this a few days ago because I had to spend some eBay bucks before they expired and used them (and a bunch of cash!) for a new copy of this lens. While the price was reasonable, I would have preferred to save a few bucks and "steal" your copy :)
I expect that your copy will sell quickly as the lens rarely is available used...good luck!

Any chance that you have and can share a few images that were shot with this lens?
Thanks,
David

Yes, this is pretty cool.
It also shows up for me running CS3 on my Mac under "Automate".

There are many threads on this subject and the general feeling is that you cannot go wrong with any one of these lenses. You may want to search around and locate those threads.
I went through this same exercise recently and purchased the D FA 100/2.8 Macro. While I am pleased with the lens, it has a learning curve (for me) because I shoot mostly older Pentax glass and I prefer to shoot manually (focus, shutter speed, aperture) which just does not feel as good with a modern lens.
Good luck with whatever you decide to purchase!

I jumped on a similar sale for $31 although mine only included the KM and K55/1.8. As it turned out the light meter on the body I purchased did not function so I sold the body for $25 to a local camera repairman (who refurbishes Pentax SLRs for students and was planning to use the body for a donor).
That left me with a very special K55/1.8 for $6! :)
As others have suggested, jump on the offer.

Very funny that you mention the Super Program as I have suggested to myself that if my daughter decides to keep a SLR in her collection then I would look for a Super Program for myself :)
That said, I have a very capable (and dare I mention, far superior to the ME Super) Canon A1 BUT my glass is all PK mount except for a few Canon mounts so maybe a Super Program is in my future.
Cheers,
David

Wondering if anyone knows whether the value that is chosen for SR becomes the focal length that is recorded in the EXIF data?
The reason that I ask is because I am sure that I was using different focal lengths while using this lens recently however the EXIF data that is recorded on all of the images is the SR value and not the exact focal length.
Thanks in advance for your feedback!
David
