It's not the MLU version. I got a couple of the batteries and did a reset. The mirror went down so everything is okay again. I'm looking forward to see the first test roll developed. :-)

Does it affect the metering when you use a 6,2v instead of a 6v battery?

Thanks, it helps a lot. Didn't know that I shouldn't keep the battery in the camera when not using it. I'll remember that.

I recently bought an old Pentax 6x7. I'm still on my first roll of film and last time I used it I accidently left on the power so the battery was empty when trying to take a picture just now. I did it anyway just to see what happens (probably should have waited but too late). When taking a photo the mirror stayed up so I guess I just need a new battery? Some wrote this in another thread which I assume is the right way to deal with this problem:
"When a battery is exhausted and the shutter button is pressed, the mirror will rise only half way. At this point, remove the battery and replace with a new one. Then reset the camera by using a toothpick inserted into the recessed button to othe left of the mirror box: press once, then press the shutter and wind on. This is the only correct method to reset the mirror."
I found a couple of 6v batteries online here in Denmark. The measurements they specify look more or less the same as the one in the camera, but just to be sure I posted them below. Are they both the right ones?

Are the rubberized ones noticably better? They're twice the price of the older ones but if it's worth it I could buy the newer one instead. Would you just get one from ebay or is there a better place to buy it?

I recently bought an old Pentax 6x7 and would at some point like to buy the 105mm 2.4, preferably the SMC version. These lenses aren't easy to come by here in Denmark so I would probably have to order one online from somewhere else. There are a lot of them on ebay, mostly from Japan. Any tips on what to look for, the do's and don'ts? Maybe there are better places to buy than ebay?
