Clean behind focusing screen - best method?

After numerous attempts to install a Katzeye split-prism screen in my K10D without collecting dust - I even tried the bathroom shower trick - my screen was so scratched that it was no longer a benefit to me.
I talked with Katzeye and sent the screen to them, it was scratched beyond repair.
So I bit the bullet and purchased a second screen, this time paying the extra $50 and sending my K10D to Katzeye for installation. It came back to me factory perfect!!!
They even clean the camera inside and out to reduce the chance of contamination before installing the screen.
I was so impressed that I sent my *1st DS2 and K20D to them for new split-prism screens to be installed. I couldn't be happier with my focusing at this point... I also use the 0-ME53 magnifying eyecups in all three cameras.
Katzeye told me that some people have problems and some don't - most likely depending on the dust and static conditions of the place where they do the installation. They were very helpful and even gave me a break in price since I was having three cameras done.

Any conclusions re: K10D + Katz w/ Optibrite?

For what its worth... I have the KatzEye with split screen, microprism collar and Af exposure brackets w/o the Optibrite on both my K10D and *1st DS2. I shoot all SMC-A series lenses (9 in all) in manual mode using the in-camera metering set at center weighted. I love the screens on both DSLRs and could not manual focus without them. Using the SMC-A series lenses in the "A" setting and the DSLR in "M" mode allows me to meter-compose and still maintain open aperature focusing before the shot. It's the best of all worlds IMO.
