I made a trip up to see the Marblehead Lighthouse (Ohio) yesterday. This time of year is the only time you can get pictures without many people in front of it- even then, there were others there, but I could get shots with no one in them. Also, Cedar Point across the bay looks cold and lonely.

Early last month (December) my wife and I rented an Air BnB in Northeast Ohio along Lake Erie for a couple of days. We had hoped for a little more snow (but not too much :)), but had to take what we got. We enjoy lighthouses and covered bridges, so this area had a few of them. The first picture is Fairport Harbor's lighthouse. The second is the view of the lake from inside the house, then one of the covered bridges.

Although there are a few trees hanging on to their leaves, for the most part, fall has fallen where I live.

Depending on elevation, the leaf color change was just beginning, fully involved, or past. While we enjoyed the scenery, the crowds were so huge, that I don't think we'll come here this time of year again- it was a zoo at times.

It's been a long time since I posted any pictures. I have been shooting some, but finding time to process the photos has been difficult. Anyway, we did get in a short camping trip to the Smokies earlier this week, and I did get a few shots. We saw 3 bears within an hour one morning.
