Replace American Airlines with Martha Stewart, and I know the feeling.
20 years ago I was a reporter with Furniture Today newspaper. I was invited to a press conference where she announced a licensed collection with Bernhardt Furniture.
I wasn’t that good yet with photography, so my boss sent a freelancer with me.
After the announcement, a team of Martha’s PR people surrounded us and wouldn’t let us leave with the photos.
I’m above average on size and former military. David was about 6’5 and muscular (former male model - eye roll).
I told them that if they tried to take our camera, there’d be hell to pay.
I turned to look at David, and the giant teddy bear was hitting the delete button as fast as he could go. LOL

For years I went to Tupelo every Feb and August for the big furniture market.

Lenoir City is about 15 mins from a good friend of mine on the west side of Knoxville. I go visit twice a year. Takes 4 hours to drive from Mayberry.[COLOR="Silver"]

No one else said, so I will.
I have been impressed with the less-expensive Samyang/Rokinon lenses.
My 135mm f/2.0 is shockingly sharp. The 85mm f/1.4 is fast and gets sharp once you stop it down a little.

I got the KP 3 1/2 years ago after putting 93,000 sports photos on my K-5.
I got the K-1 this year after no longer working at the newspaper.
I wanted more Pixels for landscape fun, events.
The biggest pain to me is that the KP uses a puny battery that isn’t compatible with the K-1. I have to use the bulky battery grip to use the same 90 battery on both.
For times when I want reach, you can’t beat the APS-C. The KP and DA* 300mm can’t be matched on the K-1.
But I find the white balance isn’t as accurate on the KP. I have to tweak colors indoors.
And bright reds are difficult for my KP to manage. I shot a rose bush with both cameras, and the KP wasn’t as good.
To me the controls on the KP were intuitive from the start. After 93K shots on the K-5, I worried I wouldn’t be able to switch to a new camera. In only 3 days I was so hooked on the KP, I struggled to go back to the old camera.

I had a AA battery charger from Energizer. Said it would charge the batteries in 15-20 mins.
The batteries didn’t last long.
So I pulled out an ancient Radio Shack charger that takes 7 hours, but the batteries last way longer.

The talk 2 years ago was to have the 16-50 ready to be the standard lens for the K-3 III.
It has been a long wait.
