You have my attention, I was 100% sold on the idea of switching to Sony (A7III or A7C) for action photography my K70 is just way too slow. If the K3iii is that much better it might be an option that would not require replacing all my lenses as well.
Any comparison notes on the K3iii vs K70 and/or Sony A7iii*?
*Obviously there are major differences between DSLR and mirrorless my main curiosity relates to the autofocus speed and accuracy.

does anyone know of a source for replacement rubber grips? mine is lifting around the front dial, below the shutter button. I would like to find a new one with self adhesive to replace it... any ideas?

Curious how everyone saves and organizes your photos? Assuming you are shooting raw+ as I do, you (I) end up with multiple copies of the same image; (1) original Raw, (1) original jpeg, after processing in LR at least another jpeg and if I try to organize them into folder by type/style/event etc I end up with several versions of the same photo in various locations. Then my hoarding kicks in, do I really need to keep 3 snaps of the same bird in flight- most likely not … "Buuut, I better keep them just in case I want to go back and grab a slightly different angle". Surely someone more experienced has developed a better process for this!

Thanks for the links. Initially I was torn between these 2 lenses but after reading the reviews "head to head" it seems the PLM has the advantage here. What you give up in range and macro(esque) abilities you seem to gain back in IQ and WR rating. I guess it's time to make a leap of faith...

the photos from the thread are making me rethink the "macro-esque" capabilities of this lens! some very impressive shots in there for something that is not a true macro lens!

I hate to bring up an old thread but hopeful that in the years past someone has gained experience with these 2 lenses to provide some insight. I am also debating between these 2 lenses for my K70. If the OP is still around, what did you end up with and are you happy with your choice?

Hello, have been reading these forums for a bit now, finally decided to join. As the title and name suggest I am from NY, recently got more into photography currently shooting a K70 with an assortment of lenses and processing everything in LR/PS.
