Thank you, I really enjoy this type of challenges, when the lighting is unpredictible and also we the subject is moving. Usually i´m more focus on real state and landscaping but never hurts to step out of the comfort zone.

This particular horse is very calm and noble, it just to be a race horse and know has a more "relax" competition :) The horse and my daughter have worked for a bout a year and they seem to develop a bond together.

My daughter at a horse jumping event last weekend. The sunlight was very strong so the shadows are hard, I was not allowed to move around the circuit, i think the better lighting came from the opposite side from where this was taken.

Summer sunset´s in Baja have something special, maybe the combination of the ocean with the semi desertic climate makes a good combination.

Yes, I know, that is why i wrote taking a chance :) but thank you anyways, luckly for me the wind and ocean were somewhat calm.

The editing I do in post is not that heavy, I tend to edit as little as i can, sometimes it helps sometimes it doesn´t, in this case the look i wanted is what i felt that evening, a chilly december evening by the sea with a great view.

Yes, i took the picture on February, so the sea is pretty calm in winter time, we get big waves on the summer.

Thank you for the comments, i tried to get rid of the halo around the rocks in post but i´m not very good using the editing program so i did what i could :)

For this picture i used a ND filter to get a bit a slower speed, even though it was at sunset still there was a lot of light and was not getting the result i wanted with the water and clouds. With the ND filter was able to play a bit more with the aperture and speed and this was the final result, i hope you like it.

Thank you. No artificial illumination for the foreground, behind me were rocks so the rocks might have reflected a bit of the natural light from the sunset.

Thank you for the comments, actually the picture looks a little different once i uploaded to the forum, looks a little washed-out, but i think is more of a upload compression problem.

I was waiting for a dramatic shot after a hurricane passed close, had to wait three days to go to this place to take the image because the road was cut off, so not to many clouds were left, this is the most southern point in the Baja peninsula.

Yeah, i like the final image but i know it could have been better. The ND filter was not an option as for this lens there is no adapter so i would have to make an adaptor for the ND filters, thank you for your tips.

Taking advantage of the weather sealed K3 II and taking a chance with the Samyang lens i decided to get close to the water and take the shot as low and close to the rocks with the concerned that a small wave would get my gear wet, anyways i was looking for this low shot because i wanted to capture a good amount of the sky and ground all in one shot, the shutter speed was 15 seconds.

The focusing screen is ok, but still thank you for the comment.
Yes, its only the external glass that is damaged. I will try to find a broken camera and see if i can fix it, thank you very much all for the comments.

Hi, a few days ago i accidentally dropped my camera and hit the floor, after inspecting it i saw the viewfinder glass had cracked right on the middle, the camera functions perfectly, no mechanical damage to the camera or the lens, just that detail on the viewfinder, it does not affects image quality it doesn´t even get on the way of seeing thru the viewfinder, but it bothers me having my camera this way. Does anyone knows if i can change and if i can do i have to disassemble the whole camera or is there an easier way to do it? Thank you in advance.
