Well, these trees are quite far from where I live (I was on vacation), so the picture is the only evidence I have. Zooming on the full resolution picture, it looks like there are no thorns nor black pods :confused:

Sorry, I misunderstood. My version of DCU was on the CD that was shipped with the camera so I can't help here.

The square format can work very well for some subjects, like in the pictures you shared we us.
I personally really like this format and regularly use it ;)
