This lady is a French professor of mathematics and while visiting in Melbourne, I snapped this impromptu portrait of her with SLR Magic Hyperprime 50mm f/0.95 LM mounted on a Sony A7r and processed in Photoshop.

This is a candid of my daughter in her rare quiet moment (taken with Angeniieux 50/1.5 on Sony A7r):

Thank you for the feedback, Folks.

The 'old look' is just digital trickery! That said, it requires a scan of vintage paper and the use of Photoshop layers. I guess also fast lenses like 85/1.4, 58/1.2 and 35/1.2. Glad you liked it.

A few street shots with the 5n, great for this sort of thing for sure!

I use three lenses on it via the Speedbooster - Leica Elmarit-R 28 (last version), Kern-Macro-Switar 50/1.9 and Leica APO-Summicron-R 90mm ASPH.

What a character! I don't know if you want any C&C, Vlad, but I'd get lower down and open the lens up - the 77ltd is great wide open even, shooting at f/8 introduces too many distractions in the background IMO.

Yes, I know. I just shake my head in disbelief that this is considered 'normal' and I am not even religious. Just a grumpy old man, I guess! :hmm:
