Hi,
I'm a sound technician that discovered he likes photography. It started with a m4/3 camera that can take m42 lenses with an adapter. I own several adapters.
- with tilt
- with shift
- with a focal reducer
- just a plain ring.
I got a liking for Mamiya lenses and will write reviews about them on this site. Maybe I can write up my experience with these adapters. Due to preference for Mamiya glass,I bought a Mamiya m645. I missed the tilts and shifts and wanted to size up even more, so I have since moved on to 4x5". But I still shoot my m4/3 camera too. Hardly ever with the original lens, though.
regards,
Dave

I do not own all of them, but I do own the Mamiya 135mm ƒ2.8 and the Vivitar/Komine auto telephoto 2.8/135 6 blade. The Mamiya lens is sharper than my vivitar and my canon FD 135mm lenses. But more importantly, the colors are better. The reds in the vivitar are darker, the reds in the canon lens lack detail.
