Hello everyone - I am thrilled to join this group.
After a lifetime of using Nikons and a recent selling binge, I used the proceeds to purchase three Pentaxes that I've had my eye on for years: 67, LX, and KX, along with some lenses. [confession: toys I couldn't afford when I was younger that I can now].
Let me just say this: wow - just wow. The LX and KX easily go toe-to-toe with my F3 and FM2N (the Nikons I kept), and in many ways exceed them. I am most impressed with the KX so far. After about 5 rolls with it, I can't imagine why this camera isn't more heralded. The KX must be one of the finest mechanical cameras ever made. It really feels and shoots like it. So simple and feels so well built, and fits so right in my hands.
Will get out with 67 soon and share my thoughts.
