Hi Surfar,
Thats interesting about the XF. I will read up more about this. I definitely want to have my mind cleared now. It would be a pity if it ended up being the lens. Earlier this evening I was taking some shots of my kids playing with soap bubbles. I could hardly get a clean shot and that got me thinking if it is the lack of in body stabilisation that's bothering me. I have not looked at the pictures closely yet but will post an update.

Hi Surfar! Thanks! Thats a lot of info. I am still struggling to appreciate the 18-55 XF. I was so much more happy with the Nikon with its 18-55 kit lens. Can figure out why I am feel that way. Yes I am interested in telephoto and hopefully get (if the seller ships) a Sears 80-200mm f4 k mount and a Sears 135mm f2.8 k mount. Also hoping to get an SMC Takumar 135mm. Again, I am kind of excited to try a bunch of things here. Once I get to try some of these, I might better appreciate the camera. I have a Nikkor 35mm f1.8 with a Fotidiox adapter, which for some reason I like better than the XF.

Thank you for the note BarneyL. Fot Nikkon lens, I got a Fotodiox. I havent used it much and did not have any background to begin with!

Wow thats cool. I will take a look at all the links that you shared. I am getting one of the Takumar 135mm f3.5 (am in the look out for a f2.5 actually). Any suggestions on adapters for these? Specifically, anything I should be avoiding?

Hi All,
This is Subbu (Kaushik) from Michigan, USA. Had been a long term Nikon (D-40) user. After reading all the various posts about mirrorless cameras went in and bought a Fuji X-T30 with a 18-55mm XF lens. However, I have been using my 35mm F1.8 and 70-300 zoom lenses in manual mode for quiet sometime and would like to try out the same with my mirrorless.
Had a lot of online resources point to this forum for vintage lenses. Am excited to join this group. Appreciate any feedback from you with regard to your experience with Fuji and vintage lenses.
