im afraid i dont know if you're asking to me, but im going to answer your question: My actual dream camera its a Canon A1, they're very uncomon over here, and the ones that i find are really expensive, but i find that camera to be so pretty, and the history behind it makes me want to have one.
What aboyt you??

luckly, yes, it workd fine, all the inner system features works fine, and the lens is pretty good. It looks amazing, and im relly enjoying it, cant wait to see the results!!

Yes im aware that this is not some sort of original Pentax, and tbh, i find this camera to be in good shape. Im not a professional on the film camera matter so thats why i didnt realize that it wasnt the original.
I still find this camera fascinating for the rareness of it, and its totally functional, so im going to add it without a problem to my collection and defently im going to use it so i can see the real quality of the camera.
i will post a future uptade whenever i get my hands on the developed photos.:)

Hi everyone, im new here, i just siggned it.
Im from Latin America, so my main language is not english, so excuse my bad grammar.
Today i bought this what-it-seems to be a Pentax K1000. Im very new at film cameras so i didnt really realized until i posted on reddit.
I thought it was a normal Pentax K1000, but a user of reddit made me realize that its actually really different; this one has a self timer, the font on the name and even the "logo" are not precisely from the original k1000. Well, i did a little bit od research and i came across this forum, and this post and its really weird.
I tried to look at the K1000 that i got, but its slightly different from the one that the other person shows on that thread: As you can see, the one that i got have the signature "K1000" carved on the metal, and the "logo" is carved on a metalic plate, so its not a no-named camera as the one showed on the thread, it also has the self-timer but thats not the weird thing, the weird thing is that my camera has a serial number below, its the number "0000292", and that unmatches totally from the one showed on the thread.
I'm aware of the chinese versions of the Pentax K1000, but this one is metalic, and it works totally fine.
On the thread, they also name the camera "MINGCA MC K1000", and they link that to a pentax-only site, where they show every single of of them. The interesting part its that the original K1000, also has serial numbers below, same as mine, but deffenetly doesnt have the self timer and the fonts doesnt match at all.
So, i really dont know how to address to this, because the camera seems to work totally fine, the materials are from the original version (metalic), it has a serial number below it as you can see, it doesnt match the "no-named" camera showed on the thread, and it doesnt match the MINGCA MC K1000 because the metal is not black, and again it doesnt say "MINGCA MC K1000" on the name.
If someone have some information about it, id love to know, because i just bought it today and it seems pretty weird to me.
